An 8-year-old Nigerian refugee was just crowned a chess champion in New York’s statewide competition. What a fantastic day, eight of our players from our chess club went to the Queen City Classic chess tournament at Paul Brown Stadium.  Our kids performed very well and all got medals for completing all 5 games during the 10 hour long tournament day. Positive Chess and Bethany School are headed to the 18TH ANNUAL QUEEN CITY CLASSIC Tournament.  We arrive at 7:30am and have fun till about 4pm.  This is our 5th year going to this tournament and it is always a blast. Kids loved miPosaur??  Another fun event!  Cincinnati Parent’s Camp Fair was great, met lots of phenomenal kids that had real passion for chess.  Was also nice meeting other summer camps  and seeing the cool stuff they offer.   Aside from playing chess, the kids loved playing with miPosaur!  miPosaur is our friendly robo dino!  He plays, spins, chases his ball, likes being fed but sometimes throws a temper tantrum..
